Masterclass Psychiatry Registration Open
Registration is now open for our next Masterclass Psychiatry 2025: To deal with the uncanny.
Next year’s masterclass will be held on 20–21 Feb 2025. Our venue is the Clarion Hotel Sense in Luleå with awesome views over the frozen sea.
This masterclass will offer an in-depth training with challenging case presentations, facilitated role play, and case supervision by our international experts from the UK and Switzerland. We have received LIPUS (Swedish medical education authority) certification and applied for EACCME credits.
By attending you will:
- Learn to deal with narratives and symptoms that provoke unease, eeriness, and horror.
- Develop strategies to support patients through experiences that are frightening, repulsive, and distressing.
- Learn to distinguish between dissociation, denial and psychosis.
- Understand the concept of countertransference and better master your own unconscious anxieties, biases, and triggers when dealing with patients.
- Improve your risk assessment skills.
