Dr Strawbridge is a lecturer in affective disorders in the Centre for Affective Disorders (CfAD) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. While eclectic in modality and focus, her research broadly aims to optimize the future treatment of affective disorders, for example through multidisciplinary clinical trials and observational studies, particularly focusing on cognitive remediation and lithium interventions. Her focus also includes examination of biological and non-biological markers of treatment response and treatment resistance in people with unipolar and bipolar affective disorders.
