Joram Ronel is head of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Clinic Barmelweid, the largest\u00a0psychosomatic and psychotherapeutic in-patient treatment center in Switzerland. He has qualified in Internal Medicine as well as in\u00a0Psychosomatic Medicine and is a psychoanalyst and group analyst.<\/p>\n
He is also Associate Professor at the Technical University Munich, Germany, and Lecturer for Psychosomatic and Psychosocial Medicine, ETH Zurich, Switzerland<\/p>\n
Joram’s research and clinical expertise lies in the treatment of somatoform and functional disorders in combination with developmental psychology.<\/p>\n
Joram has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He was also a member of\u00a0the steering committee for the German national guidelines on somatoform and functional disorders.<\/p>\n
