Luleå

Luleå is the capital of Norrbotten in Swedish Lapland with a population of more than 78000. The city is a hub for infrastructure in Sweden’s far north and the commercial centre of the entire Barents region.

The conference venue Brändö konferens is situated just north of the city in beautiful surrondings.

Luleå airport

Luleå Airport is the sixth largest airport in Sweden in terms of passenger numbers with around one million passengers a year. The airport is served mainly by SAS and Norwegian via connection in Stockholm Arlanda.

Taxis take 15 min from the airport into the city centre. It is possible to share taxis to reduce the fare.

The local bus line right outside of the terminal building is a convenient and very economical way to get right to the city centre. Tickets (30 kr) can be bought by credit card right at the bus stop.
