Midnight sun dinner cruise in the Luleå Archipelago

EAPM midnight sun dinner cruise

Departure from the North harbour in Luleå City Center, just a few minutes walk from the congress center.

During the cruise, a buffet is served with salmon, herring, glazed tenderloin, roast beef, potato salad, different kinds of cheese, dips, chef’s freshly baked bread. For this you can order beer, wine or of course there are always alcohol-free options.

Friday 17 June

  • 20.00 Conference dinner (ticketed during registration) at Kulturens Hus.

The conference dinner will start with a short concert featuring Sofia Jannok and Norrbotten Big Band in Stora Salen at Kulturens Hus.

Sofia Jannok is is a Swedish-Sami artist, singer, songwriter and radio host. Her music is inspired from diverse musical in uences, like folk, pop, jazz and joik. She sings mostly in Northern Sami, but also sings and writes lyrics in Swedish and English as well.

The Norrbotten Big Band is a large modern jazz ensemble based in Luleå, northern Sweden. This big band often features various guest soloists from around the world and has released many albums, some of them nominated for American, as well as Swedish, Grammys.

The party continues at Kulturens Hus with a DJ and bar after the dinner.

Jokkmokk and photo opportunity at the Arctic Circle

Jokkmokk is a small community 170 km northwest of Luleå, above the Arctic Circle.

We drive through the Lapland countryside. On the way to Jokkmokk your guide will tell your more about this region.

We will make a stop at the Arctic Circle for a photo opportunity, ceremony and Arctic Circle certificate.

Guided tour at Ájtte Sami museum in Jokkmokk. Here you can learn about the Sami history and modern life. There are also varied shopping opportunities with a large assortment of quality crafts.
